"Unbelievable weather - 35 degrees some afternoons. We have not eaten out in any of the recommended restaurants, we have eaten all our meals here outside. We can think of no better way to relax than in the garden, listening to the birds singing and watching the kingfishers, coypus, dragonflies, frogs and water voles. Thank you to our hosts for sharing their wonderful home and garden in France with us. We leave tomorrow for the Vendee and would rather stay here!"

"Wonderful weather - 33 degrees on some days. We were thrilled when we saw Le Bourg in the evening sun. We didn't go sightseeing at all this week, but spent time in the garden, playing games, fishing and reading.
